f.lux – better lighting for your computer
f.lux is one of those programs you don’t realize you loved until it’s gone. It’s a handly little desktop app that automatically adjusts your screen colors to reflect day/night lighting changes, or transitions from office florescent to home tungsten. I tried turning it off once and was surprised by the unsightly blue glare. Really, it’s great for laptops when you’re always turning the brightness down.
